Instead, I start with a 60-Minute Book Strategy Session to make sure the book you want to write is truly the best investment of your time, energy, and resources—and that I’m the really the best person to help you write it.

In 60 minutes, I can review your outline, let you know what jumps out at me, and give my honest assessment of the project’s potential. You’ll walk away with clear next steps and answers to the questions you’ve probably been sitting with for months. And if we do end up working together, the cost of the strategy session counts towards your project fee.

During our session, we’ll tackle the most important questions up front:

• Is a book really the best move for your career right now?

• Is the book you have in mind the best possible match for your expertise, your audience, and your long-term goals?

• Have you identified the concrete problem your book will solve for readers, and do you have what it takes to help them solve it?

• Have you budgeted enough time, money, and energy to do this right—from writing to publishing to marketing?

By the end of the session, you’ll have crystal-clear direction and actionable next steps, so you can avoid wasted time, energy, and money.

What Does It Cost?

I charge $250 for a one-hour strategy session. This includes reviewing your book outline and up to 1500 words of writing in advance of our session. At the end of our session, you receive a video recording and transcript. If we decide to work together, the strategy session fee applies towards a full ghostwriting, book coaching, or editing package.
